Hidden away at the end of little lane and over a bridge, the Cafe at Hogacre Common is Oxford’s own secret little oasis (open Sundays over summer, 12 midday – 5pm)
Every week we serve vegetarian bakes, scrummy salads and cakes, made with veg from the Sandy Lane Farm fields and organic veg shop.
Come along and relax indoors surrounded by our community art, or sit out on the common and enjoy a hearty and healthy lunch with us alfresco.
Afterwards, why not take a (free) nature trail around the common and nearby Grandpont Nature Reserve, discovering local plants, our resident bees and more. (Bring back your trail to the cafe and receive your own nature lovers’ certificate!)
Or, if you fancy getting your hands dirty, get stuck in at OxGrow our neighbouring community garden – where they always welcome friendly volunteers!
See you soon!
